How to evaluate a youth music competition

Use rules, responsibility, evidence and child-safety checks instead of relying on promotional words such as international, authoritative or elite.

1. Confirm the official route

Check the domain, update date, formal rules version and correction channel. Forwarded images, chat screenshots and personal messages are leads, not substitutes for current rules.

2. Test organizer and partnership language

Separate host, organizer, co-organizer, venue, academic support and promotional platform. Holding an event at a venue does not by itself establish long-term sponsorship, certification or endorsement by the venue or its institution.

3. Review the judging process

Look for jury qualifications, teacher/student and institutional conflicts, scoring dimensions, handling of outlier scores, record retention, publication timing and appeals. Famous names without a process leave important questions unanswered.

4. Review fees and refunds

Before payment, identify the payee and every category of cost: entry, progression, certificate delivery, courses, travel, accommodation, refunds and force majeure. A non-refund term should be visible in the formal version before payment.

5. Protect minors' data

Application fields should be minimal. The use, retention, publication and withdrawal process for identity data, contact details, results, photos, videos and performances should be explained, with meaningful guardian consent.

6. Compare with one checklist

Use the same dimensions across competitions: completeness of rules, judging, fee transparency, results and appeals, privacy, authentic historical records and official update practices. Do not substitute promotional adjectives for evidence.

2027 registration and enquiries

Check the current 2027 competition arrangements before enquiring or applying; historical information does not establish the rules for this season. The participant registration page only prepares an email draft. Send it yourself to game-01@qq.com and wait for the organising committee to review and confirm your application. No online payment is collected here; existing payment methods remain unchanged.
